Monodisperse palladium nanoparticles supported on chemically derived graphene: highly active and reusable nanocatalysts for Suzuki–Miyaura cross-coupling reactions
Addressed herein is the catalysis of monodisperse palladium nanoparticles (NPs) supported on chemically derived graphene (CDG) for the Suzuki–Miyaura cross-coupling of phenylboronic acid and various aryl halides. Monodisperse Pd NPs were synthesized by the solution phase reduction of palladium(II) acetylacetonate with morpholine borane complex in oleylamine and deposited on CDG via the liquid p...
متن کاملPalladium nanoparticles supported on a triptycene-based microporous polymer: highly active catalysts for CO oxidation.
Pd nanoparticles were well dispersed on a new triptycene-based microporous polymer support by the gas bubbling-assisted membrane reduction (GBMR) method. The stability of Pd nanoparticles is improved by the porous support, and the materials show excellent performance for CO oxidation.
متن کاملCatalytically active ceria-supported cobalt-manganese oxide nanocatalysts for oxidation of carbon monoxide.
A low-concentration cobalt (∼6 at%) and manganese (∼3 at%) bimetallic oxide catalyst supported on ceria nanorods (CoMnOx/CeO2), as well as its related single metal oxide counterparts (CoOx/CeO2 and MnOx/CeO2) was synthesized via a deposition-precipitation approach. The fresh samples after air-calcination at 400 °C were tested under the reaction conditions of CO oxidation, and showed the followi...
متن کاملCopolymerization of ethylene with α-olefins over highly active supported Ziegler-Natta catalyst with vanadium active component
The new highly active supported vanadium-magnesium catalyst (VMC) has been studied in α-olefin (1-butene, 1-hexene)/ ethylene copolymerization in the presence of hydrogen. Data on the effect of α-olefin/ethylene ratio in copolymerization on the content of branchings in copolymers, kinetic profile, copolymer yield, molecular weight and molecular weight distribution of copolymers have been obtain...
متن کاملGraphene-supported hemin as a highly active biomimetic oxidation catalyst.
Well supported: stable hemin-graphene conjugates formed by immobilization of monomeric hemin on graphene, showed excellent catalytic activity, more than 10 times better than that of the recently developed hemin-hydrogel system and 100 times better than that of unsupported hemin. The catalysts also showed excellent binding affinities and catalytic efficiencies approaching that of natural enzymes.
